Remembering Nicholas

remembering nick nama

I can’t say have ever met someone quite like Nick. He was one of a kind.

The traits I saw in Nick made me want to be a better person.

He was extremely humble, selfless, caring detail-oriented, and had a great work ethic. He was easy-going and always had a good attitude towards everything. He cared a lot about Salina, and South Orange County Detox and Treatment, in general. It didn’t matter if he just got done working a twelve-hour shift – anytime he was here he was helping out or cleaning. Nick was an extremely talented artist. He was super thoughtful when it came to Birthdays. He always hand drew cards for everyone, and they always came out amazing. He was a quiet person and kept to himself for the most part, but anytime I needed to vent or talk, he was always there to listen and it seemed like he always had some good insight for me. In groups, Nick never had the most to say, but when he did speak and contribute, it always seemed like it was the right thing and exactly what Salina was looking for with us. He was super thoughtful and selfless – something you don’t often see in people. I’ll always remember the kind of person Nick was and try to live up to the memory he leaves behind here at South Orange County Detox and Treatment. Rest in Paradise, Nick.
