Stabilization phase.
The Stabilization Phase begins once a client has been induced with their first dose of Suboxone. During Stabilization, the client is tapering down off of detox medications. It’s important that clients stabilizes physically before beginning Suboxone Maintenance.

Maintenance phase .
The Suboxone Maintenance Phase begins once a client completes detoxification and is physically stable. Maintenance dosage is determined during this phase by the prescribing physician based upon indicating factors such as prior length of use, prior amount of use, current physical symptoms and cravings. The maintenance period is individually tailored to meet the needs of each client and is assessed regularly to make any necessary adjustments. Maintenance should be accompanied by therapy and/or addiction treatment for effectiveness and monitoring.
