I am going to miss Nick dearly. He was always a very genuine person that had so much talent. I will remember him from his art hanging on the walls, the calendar, the birthday cards, and his graffiti. No one will be able to fill the shoes of Nick Nama – He was truly unique. I will always think of us playing poker for hours and hours, losing track of time because we were too busy having a good time. We even played in a power outage one night with a lantern. He was always better at poker than I but he taught me a lot of his strategy making it easier to play. We would also spend countless hours playing spades and always have a good time. I know that he will definitely be having plenty of games with Zack, Anna, and Albert in Heaven. I will forever miss Nick, he had such a good soul with great insight when he spoke, unlike any other person I have met in recovery. He loved Salina and South Orange County Detox and Treatment. I know that he will always be watching over this place with the others. It’s a shame that only the good die young. Nick was a good person and he was one of my brothers. RIP Nick, I will never forget the laughs we shared and everything we’ve been through.
