Life is a journey filled with lessons, hardships, heartaches, joys, sorrows, and special moments that ultimately lead us to finding our purpose in life. When I look back on my life, and remember all the beautiful and difficult memories that I have experienced, in an attempt to make sense out of all the chaos that my addiction created I would like to believe that it was all necessary in order for me not only find recovery, but to hopefully help someone else who is still lost in their journey. All of us have to go through our own journey in life, we have to take chances, make mistakes, and experience all the highs and lows that come with living. Everything that I have been through in my life is what has made me who I am today, it has made me stronger and made me believe in myself and my ability to overcome. I’m grateful that my journey is still unfolding, and that I’m hopeful for my future.
