Shifting My Perspective on My Values

focus alcohol detox

I believe values are important, but I never really took the time to sit and think about what I truly value. I always categorized things in my life as important or unimportant but not so much as something of value. During some recent groups we’ve had at South Orange County Detox and Treatment has got me thinking about what I value most in my life. If I had to pick what I feel I value most in my life I would say it is my family, my sobriety, my personal growth and development, and last my work ethic as well as my success. There are times when I’m not in the best state of mind or I need to change my perspective on the situation, causing me to lose focus on my values. Now being conscientious of this I am going to strive to make decisions and choices that reflect my values.
